Tickets on sale Friday October 21!

What better way to welcome the Summer than with an Australian tour from guitar lord Plini, kicking off early next year.

The seven-date run will cover Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth, alongside Canadian prog metallers Protest The Hero and Melbourne’s very own metal outfit I Built The Sky.

Check out all the latest touring news here.

“We started booking this tour about one minute after we finally got to do the triple-postponed headline tour last May,” Plini said.

“The excitement for playing gigs again is back in full swing! Super stoked to have one of my all-time favourite bands (Protest the Hero) joining us, as well bestie Dave Mackay from the UK joining my band on keys for the tour.”

Along with the exciting tour news, fans can also catch a glimpse of the madness coming to our shores next year, with a new live music video out for track ‘Papelillo’, which was shot at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre back in June.

After two years on the sidelines, Plini sprung back into action in 2022, delivering back-to-back headline tours down under, as well as in India and Scandinavia.

To go along with this, Plini also had some huge festival appearances in Germany, the UK, and Portugal, as well as performing in some of Australia’s most iconic theatres, while supporting Aussie hard hitters Northlane.

Protest The Hero will be supporting, bringing their post-hardcore flair down under all the way from Whitby, Ontario.

They’ve evolved from teenage underground sensations into one of the most forward-thinking bands in the heavier realms – their explosive live shows have seen them tour with the likes of Coheed and Cambria, August Burns Red, and Between The Buried.

I Built The Sky is the brainchild of guitarist Rohan Stevenson, and ranges from thunderously progressive, to intimately acoustic.

They’ve toured with the likes of Caligula’s Horse, Twelve Foot Ninja, and many others – you certainly don’t want to miss them.

Tickets go on sale Friday October 21 at 9am AEDT time.
