Note is the starting point for music-makers, offering an assortment of options between 56 of Ableton Live’s drum kits, 261 synth sounds, and 36 tuneful instruments samples to create a melody. By taking recordings of their surroundings and putting them into the sampler instruments, users can construct their own sound palette.

To easily pick up where you left off and develop your ideas further, Ableton Cloud allows you to send your Note Sets directly to the Live’s browser.

Create a beat by choosing from any of the Drum Sampler kits and adding layers of rhythm accompanied by Note Repeat, creating beat repetition.

Users can set a key and add additional layers to create a harmony. Overdubbing and shaping the sound by changing the parameters of adding effects can be used to enhance your creation.

Sample sounds can be edited through cutting, filtering, or re-pitching effects. Using the Drum Sampler and Melodic Sampler allows users to record percussive or tonal sounds.

With a grid-based session layout, users can create different song structures through loops and duplicated clips. The session you’re in can be easily exported as an audio file and ready for sharing.

The iOS app is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad users.
