Marketing Specialist – Sonos (Melbourne)

Sonos is on a journey to become the world’s leading sound experience company. Looking for a Marketing Specialist, APAC, you will play a key role on their team as they continue to build a strong brand and drive engagement and demand, online and in-stores.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Understand the requirements working for and building a premium global brand
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Strategic, optimistic, self-starter, innovative, collaborative with an eye for detail
  • 4+ years of experience working with like-minded brand(s) in a consumer brand environment, ideally in consumer electronics, technology or consumer lifestyle marketing.
  • Undergraduate degree with a focus on marketing, communications, commerce and/or advertising
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and creative requests in a fast paced, matrix environment to deliver on deadline and on budget

Task / Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead regional creative asset requests across multiple integrated online and offline cross-functional brand campaigns, promotions and new product introductions from brief and timeline development to execution
  • Support the team with administrative responsibilities such as raising purchase orders, organising seeding stock dispatch and record-keeping and notes of key milestones, workback schedules, helping the team stay focused on delivery dates and deadlines.
  • Projects include taking the lead on deliverables/specs regarding various advertising formats such as OOH, print, digital, video/other film formats, social assets, digital native buys with media partners and asset creation for retail needs across the region.
  • Work with retail marketing leads to assist with the rollout of visual merchandising displays plus identify creative efficiencies across consumer marketing and retail marketing asset needs; deliver assets to channel partners
  • Drive translation projects across consumer marketing, retail marketing and dealer comms for the ANZ (and as needed APAC team) from brief through execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Sales and Data Entry roles – Dream Music (Sydney)

Dream Music is looking for sales staff in the realm of drums, guitars, keyboard and tech sales with additional roles for data entry for Ebay.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Ability to build customer rapport quickly and easily both in person, over the phone and also via online mediums

Sales Role:

  • Product database creation & maintenance via CSV file uploads to Magento Web Cart platform & Ebay listing software
  • Organisation & maintenance of internal systems logs & processes for product content creation
  • Gathering & collating product data from various suppliers, manufacturers & online resources
  • Handling of social media accounts.

Technical Officer (Audio) – SAE (Sydney)

SAE is on the hunt for someone who ensures the continued operation of the equipment in the campus studios and facilities, monitoring WHS, and providing technical support and assistance to students during practical sessions.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Strong skills and experience in audio technologies, hardware, and software
  • Technical expertise in audio or music production within professional studio environments
  • A passion to assist and support students to reach their full potential
  • A Bachelor degree qualification, or equivalent, in either audio and/or related industry experience within the professional studio environment
  • Be technically proficient and able to learn new technical skills quickly
  • Demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent customer service and student support
  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently to achieve required outcomes

Lecturer (Contemporary Music) – WAAPA/ECU (Perth)

WAAPA is an internationally renowned arts institution within Edith Cowan University. They are looking to attract a highly motivated and dynamic person who is an experienced practitioner and teacher in Contemporary Music (Popular Music).

Skills / Experience Required:

  • PhD, Masters degree, or equivalent industry experience in the field
  • Ability to coordinate, develop and teach units at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in Contemporary Music (popular music) studies

  • Delivering tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops and studio sessions to VET, HE and HD students
  • Preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars, including the production of teaching materials
  • Marking, assessment and consultation with students
  • Development of course material with appropriate support and advice from more senior employees
  • Engaging with university software and systems
