Senior Marketing Manager – Spotify AUNZ (Sydney)

Spotify’s consumer marketing team are searching for a senior marketing manager to drive brand and user growth in the region. Ideally, you would have at least 10 years of experience in consumer, digital media, brand, or entertainment marketing and collaborative leadership qualities.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Strong initiative and determination with 10+ years validated experience in consumer, digital media, brand or entertainment marketing
  • You are creative minded, strongly analytical and a confident communicator, all of which allows you to easily collaborate with partners and effectively work across functions
  • Highly customer driven and data literate. Able to interrogate market, competitor and customer data to build recommendations on market and consumer growth activations
  • You bring a positive outlook, passion for the Spotify brand and the ability to drive, inspire and provide leadership to the broader team
  • Experience in media planning and/or partnership marketing will be highly regarded

  • Lead the strategy and execution of tent-pole marketing programs, ensuring all activity feels local, personal and delivers measurable user growth and/or retention

Operations & Production Manager – Queenscliff Music Festival (Queenscliff, VIC)

Not-for-profit community organisation Queenscliff Music Festival are on the hunt for an operations and production manager on a six-month contract, with the chance of renewal. The right candidate will be able to provide expertise in the development and implementation of all infrastructure, emergency/safety, logistics, and technical requirements associated with the Festival including the management of budgets, schedules and relevant staff, operator’s supplier & contractors.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Experience working as a professional festival and/or events Operations and/or Production Manager
  • Experience working in the arts, preferably around music and festivals
  • Experience scoping, managing, and reporting on event budgets
  • Quality written and verbal communication
  • Excellent time management including setting and meeting deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite or equivalent and experience delivering quality administrative outcomes
  • Knowledge and experience in Risk Management, Emergency Management, Safety and OH&S planning
  • Experience in effective staff and contractor management

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee all Production Services including those provided by third party Contractors, and the management of the delivery and operation for all Festival Production elements (Sound, Lighting, Staging, Video etc. and associated labour)
  • On Site Production management for the Festival itself working with production crew, operators & contractors
  • Site & Event Infrastructure and logistic services including the management of the delivery and operation for all Festival Site Infrastructure elements (Venues, Tents, Toilets, Fencing, Lighting, Signage, Site Offices, Stalls, Furniture, Decorations, and associated labour)
  • On Site Operations management for the Festival itself, working with site crew, operators & contractors. Includes QMF off-site Campground and off-site venues
  • Develop and populate Festival Management Plans and provide drafts to local Council within timeframes provided. This includes, emergency management plans, site plans, temporary structures, production and event schedules, technical requirements, communications, waste management and traffic management
  • Be key liaison with local Council and ensure all legislative requirements are met, including planning permits, occupancy permits, POPE permits, food service permits, liquor licences, local laws permits & exemptions, road closures etc
  • Be key liaison with venues during planning and throughout Festival weekend on all logistical aspects in relation to the venue and site use including confirmation & contracting, technical requirements, audience capacities and disability access
  • Develop, manage, and implement, QMF Noise Management Plan. Work with production suppliers, artists, and local residents, to achieve best possible noise emissions outcomes throughout festival weekend
  • Develop and maintain COVIDSafe policies and procedures
  • Collaborate on festival budget planning while obtaining quotes and reporting back
  • Recruit and manage all site & production staff, operators & crew
