The four pedals on offer here are the X-DRIVE (distortion), X-VIBE (modulation), X-TIME (delay) and X-SPACE (reverb). All four of these feature 16 custom algorithms from their popular AmpliTube plugin series run through high-quality DSP. The pedals run at 192kHz, have 4x oversampling and are built from quality components in Italy.

All of the hardware pedals come with a software equivalent which is run through their AmpliTube 5 plugin and it’s possible to move presets both ways from pedal to plugin or vice versa.

Being a producer of audio interfaces as well, IK Multimedia have packed recording functionality into these too via USB connection. Through this connection, the whole pedal can be controlled via MIDI too. The X-GEAR pedals boast a 123dB of dynamic range and extended frequency range from 5Hz to 25kHz.

The X-Drive pedal features a Cabinet Simulation out which is cool if you want to rehearse at low volumes but still dial in a crunchy tone. All four have expression pedal ins for adjusting your sound while playing.

These pedals are available for preorder and should be arriving in August.
