AMSynths have unveiled their new SN-101 LPF module, which is a faithful recreation of the legendary low pass filter from the 1981 Roland SH-101 synthesiser in Eurorack form.
What you need to know:
- The SN-101 is a clone of the low pass filter from the Roland SH-101
- Designed by Rob Keeble, who is well known for his accurate recreations of classic synthesiser components
- Will be available in April, and can be expected to come in at around $200-$250 AUD

The SN-101 includes two inputs, with input B having its own dedicated attenuator knob, an LFO input, Envelope input with modulation knob, a CV keyboard input and an output.
The filter cutoff and resonance is controlled by sliders, and the module sports a red face plate, which is reminiscent of the original synthesiser, which came in 3 colour options of grey, blue and red, and featured sliders to control each parameter.
The module was designed by Rob Keeble of AMSynths, who is responsible for the Behringer 2600 and 2500 modules, as well as a range of other AMsynths modules, who are well known for their faithful recreations of classic synthesiser components in Eurorack form.
The SN-101 is scheduled to start shipping in April and as of now, does not have a definitive price tag. However, judging from similar modules within the AMSynths line up, we can expect the SN-101 to come in at about £115-£140 or around AU$200-$250.
