Charvel increases their Pro-Mod range

Including the DK24, So-Cal, and San Dimas

Charvel have just released their new range of guitars in their Pro-Mod series. The new models include the DK24, So-Cal, and San Dimas, which contain a range of options and configurations for players to choose from. 

What you need to know:

All models are high-end super Strat-style guitars that Charvel is known for, aimed at professional musicians and advanced players.

San Dimas

The San Dimas line of the Pro-Mod series includes a range of colours and configurations. All models have an alder body, a bolt on maple neck, 22 jumbo frets with options for a maple or ebony fretboard. The pickup configuration includes HH and HSS, with all models including Seymour Duncan pickups. 

The HH styles include three options. Green, Blue, and Burgundy, with each colour coming with different Seymour Duncan combinations, a Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge, three-way pickup selector, push/pull single coil split volume and tone control.

The HSS model is only available in pearl for now, and includes a thru-body hardtail bridge, Seymour Duncan pickups, a 5-way selector and volume and tone knobs

So-Cal

The So-Cal Range is available in three colours, Black with tortoise pickguard, Pink with white pickguard and Grey with black pickguard. The range features an alder body, a bolt on maple neck, 22 jumbo frets with options for a maple or ebony fretboard, a heel mounted adjustable truss rod wheel, Floyd Rose tremolo and different set of Seymour Duncan pickups for each model. Available in both HH and HSH pickup configurations.

The HH variations feature a three-way pickup selector, volume control with push/pull single coil splits and tone control. While the HSH option includes a five-way pickup selector, with volume and tone control

DK24

The DK24 line also includes three colour options, Desert Sand, Electric Blue, and Blackburst. They feature mahogany and alder body options, a bolt on maple neck, 24 jumbo frets with options for a maple or ebony fretboard, a heel mounted adjustable truss rod wheel, options for a Hardtail, Floyd Rose or Gotoh style bridge and comes with HH and HSS pickup configurations. Again with a different set of Seymour Duncan pickups for each model.

The new models in the pro-mod range will retail from AU$2,299 – $2.499.
