Joining Stone Temple Pilots and Bush.
After experiencing several false starts last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Under The Southern Stars has announced American rock and roll royalty Cheap Trick will join their lineup for 2021, accompanying Stone Temple Pilots and Bush on a string of shows across Australia in 2021.
Originally slated for 2020 with +Live in place of Cheap Trick, the tour has now been locked in to kick off in Wollongong on April 30 2021, with the Under The Southern Stars team confirming that all artists have border approval to travel around Australia, being among some of the first international acts to do so.
The tour will also mark a milestone for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, with Cheap Trick touring on the back of their 20th studio album In Another World when they take to the stage down under in April.
In addition to featuring Cheap Trick, Stone Temple Pilots and Bush, Under The Southern Stars will feature Australian pub rock royalty Rose Tattoo and fellow guitar slingers Electric Mary at all shows.
Under The Southern Stars have also confirmed that tickets pre-purchased in 2020 still remain valid despite the line-up change, and that additional tickets for the new dates will go on sale from February 5 2021.
Punters who cannot attend the new dates can keep their eye out for an email with information regarding ticket transfers, and refunds for ticket holders of shows that have been cancelled will be contacted directly about their refund.
