Based in the UK, Digitana Electronics offer a few different CV-MIDI interfaces at the moment, yet with the announcement of these two interfaces Digitana are about to take things to the next level. Although the products are still in development, there is still a lot to get hyped about.
The SX-1 is a standalone expander, modelled off the company’s Synthi AKS KS. Powered by dual VCOs, it has a range of features including a slew limiter, octave shift, sample and hold, slope generator and distortion. The HALia is an all digital pocket synth that uses multiple ARM- based controllers, which allow the user to create an array of possible sounds.
