Dubbed Classic Machines, the package includes 10 different vintage drumkit sounds, ranging from Roland’s iconic TR606, 707, 808 and 909 models to more left field ’80s kits such as the Oberheim and Linn Drum, offering users maximum sample rate and an easy-to-use interface for enhanced studio performance and audio quality.
To spice things up, Steinberg have included both a classic and an EFX mode for each Machine, enouraging users to utilise unconventional sound effects in their sequences. Classic Machines is also loaded with onboard note repeat and a whole bunch of MIDI loops, optimised for the iOS platform.
