Lollar claims that the size of the new pickup allows it to be hung from a pickguard or bezel, like a Firebird, or mounted in a Deluxe-style ring in a P90 Soapbar route similar to a Minihumbucker. The pickup is constructed with .25” diameter alnico 5 rod pole pieces and single conductor lead wire. Lollar let you pick from nickel, chrome, or gold open-top covers with textured matte black cap, fitting both neck or bridge slots.
Lollar have provided the above graph to indicate the frequency range of the pickup’s signature chime and jangle tone. The company says the pickup is also well-suited to handling a dirtier tone, “maintaining articulate note separation and clarity, even under higher gain overdrive and distortion,” according to the spec bio.
