Originally launched in the United States in 2016, Fender Mod Shop has been a hugely popular option for customers making a guitar purchase online.

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of its industry-leading design and shopping platform, the Fender Mod Shop, in Australia. For the first time in our region, players can order customised guitars and basses built by Fender.

The platform affords users the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind instrument to their own specifications and style and have it built and delivered within 12 weeks. With over 70,000 configurations available (and counting), the Mod Shop offers an unrivalled number of ways for players to express themselves.

“Demand for Fender Mod Shop guitars has consistently grown since we launched the program in the US seven years ago. Increased demand for customisation, however, is a global trend, so making our Mod Shop experience available to more players around the world is an important next step for Fender,” said Andy Mooney, CEO, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. “The Fender Mod Shop gives players the chance to own something truly unique and personal, originating from our legendary Corona factory.”
