The entry-level series sees updates for classic Fender models, such as the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Precision Bass, and Jaguar. The collection boasts 21 new guitars and basses, with Fender incorporating the timeless elements of design, tone, and feel expected from the esteemed company.
Notable updates across the range include Alnico pickups, satin-finished maple necks, 22-fret necks, upgraded bridge hardware, and an updated body radius. Fender has also provided a choice of multiple new finishes, such as Sage Green, Polar White, Tide Pool, Butter Cream, and Sonic Red.
A few changes have been made that are worth pointing out: the classic Jaguar design has found itself with a bridge humbucker, and the new Jazzmaster sees its typical soapbar pickups replaced with dual humbuckers.
THE PLAYER STRATOCASTER
Offers a choice of four models: the Player Stratocaster, Player Stratocaster Plus Top, Player Stratocaster Left-Handed, and Player Stratocaster HSS Plus Top. It also boasts dedicated bridge pickup controls for that timeless Fender tone.
THE PLAYER TELECASTER
Available as a standard Tele, Left-Handed or HH model, the Player Telecaster offers a string-through-body bridge with bent-steel saddles, and pays homage to “the one that started it all.”
THE PLAYER JAZZMASTER
With a push/pull pot to coil-split humbucking bridge pickup, the Player Jazzmaster is “refined yet wild” and is an impressive update on a classic design.
THE PLAYER JAGUAR
Add some bite to sweet, smooth notes with the Player Jaguar, available with new updates including a slide switch to coil-split humbucking bridge pickup.
THE PLAYER PRECISION BASS
The Player Precision Bass is offered in the standard and left-handed design, boasting high-end appointments – including a One Player Series split-coil Precision Bass middle pickup – for “the sound that defined the electric bass.”
THE PLAYER JAZZ BASS
Offering tone with depth and a thunderous punch, the Player Jazz Bass range features four distinct models to perfectly suit your needs: the standard Player Jazz Bass, a Fretless option, a Left-Handed model, and the Player Jazz Bass V.
THE PLAYER JAGUAR BASS
With a “one-two punch of hybrid tone”, the Player Jaguar Bass is a force to be reckoned with. It also offers two volume controls, master control, and One Player Series bridge and middle pickups.
