Epiphone unleash the Holy Diver Les Paul Outfit

Taking its name from the Dio album of the same, the Holy Diver Les Paul Outfit boasts dual DiMarzio X2N humbuckers, which both look and sound incredibly mean. The instrument features the quirky addition of brass knobs and output jack, as well as a very functional brass nut up near the headstock. Interestingly enough, when this model was debuted at NAMM in January, it featured a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and acryllic tone and volume controls – which might suggest as to why it took so long to hit the mass market.

The Holy Diver Les Paul Outfit also features a mahogany body with a maple top and single-ply cream binding around the body. It’s also got a set maple neck with a custom profile, spec’d by Campbell himself, as well as an Indian laurel fretboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets. It looks like it’s a pretty hot little model for ’80s shred heads, and if you’re into big riffs and squeaky solos, this one is a go-go.
