Balaguer introduce the Espada T-Bar baritone guitar

Created for Tony Pizzuti, best known for his playing in the metalcore group The Word Alive, the Espada T-Bar fuses a quirky offset design with features that mean business for a distinctive look, sound and feel. The instrument features a 26.5″ inch scale, allowing for the extra tension of lower tunings while still offering the comfort and familiarity provided by a standard scale guitar.

With a hefty mahogany body, hard rock maple neck and a smooth ebony fretboard, with cream block inlays nonetheless, the Balaguer is a seriously well-crafted guitar. It’s also fitted with a pair of high-output Balaguer Truenobucker humbuckers with coil-tapping provided by the tone knobs, a Hipshot hardtail bridge and the lavish combination of a gold pickguard and hardware.

The Espada T-Bar also comes in a very, very deluxe Gloss Metallic Cool Green finish – if that’s not quite your cup of tea, you can even get the Balaguer gang to make you a custom model here – what a time to be alive, huh?
