Rolled out as part of the Avid All Access Plans, the update responds to several of the requests of the customers and integrates them, as well as improving stability.
The main improvements in Sibelius 8.1 are intelligent rests that automatically align with the note flow, creating first, second, and third time bars for playback accuracy and the ability to export compositions as MP3s, for easier file transfer and as not to exceed email limits.
“The new Sibelius 8.1 introduces several top-requested features and key stability improvements, demonstrating our dedication to listening and responding to customer feedback,” said Dana Ruzicka, Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Avid.
Avid has also improved the Sibelius Cloud Publishing technology, which helps publishers implement the technology in their webstore.
