Gibson Artist Spotlight

Alex Ritchie is a Los Angeles based artist, writer, producer, and creative entrepreneur who is well on her way to success as a multi-hyphenate in entertainment. As part of the GRAMMY Next program defining the next generation of music industry leaders, Alex made her Grammy telecast debut at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on CBS, alongside nominees H.E.R. and Giveon, and has worked with the likes of Ziggy Marley, music supervisor titan Tracy McKnight, and Grammys CEO, Harvey Mason Jr. Alex became the youngest sitting committee member in the history of the Recording Academy’s Los Angeles Chapter, where she served for 4 years–advocating for LGBTQ+ and Asian American representation in the music industry.

Alex Ritchie

Alex joined the Gibson Guitar family as an official Gibson Artist and entered into a marketing partnership with Kevin Hart’s Hart House. She teamed up with Rastaclat and the It Gets Better Project for her “Isn’t You” single released in honor of PRIDE Month and was also featured in the Grammy’s first ever LGBTQ+ National PRIDE Event, “Stay In, Come Out, Let’s Talk,” alongside LeAnn Rimes, Troye Sivan, and others. In 2023, she released her single “GO,” which amassed over 50,000 streams in the first couple weeks and quadrupled her Instagram following. She followed it up with the single, “Placeholder”–co-written by platinum-selling artist ZHAVIA. In addition to her music, Alex is developing her first ever line of hats, titled BoHat, and she created a new scripted TV series, of which screenwriter James Arcega Tinsley (Mayor of Kingstown) is attached as co-writer. Alex is excited to be part of the new wave of diverse representation in entertainment. Having been named one of the “Future Power Players” in the industry by The Recording Academy, she is ready for takeoff.

Mona Lindgren

Swedish artist Mona Lindgren plays guitar and bass in rock trio The Gems, is part of the Ladies Got The Blues collective, has a solo project under the name DeMona, and is a freelance session musician. As the bassist in her previous band, Lindgren toured extensively, including a two-month North American arena tour with the Scorpions.

Lindgren got her first Gibson—a black 2004 Les Paul Custom–for her 17th birthday, and it has been her main guitar ever since. When her previous band split in 2023, Lindgren formed The Gems with former bandmates Guernica Mancini on vocals and Emilie Johansson on drums, quickly signing with Napalm Records and reaching the dizzy heights of number two on the German rock radio charts with the single, “Like a Phoenix.”
