They join the Overdrive, Distortion, Fuzz, Compressor, Chorus, Delay, and Reverb pedals which are simply named after their effect with simple use in mind, just three controls and a toggle switch.

The 3 Series Hall Reverb has controls for ‘verb’, ‘dampen’, and, ‘decay’, along with a mini switch labelled ‘modulate’, giving you that large room sound as if you are in a cathedral or chamber.

The JHS 3 Series Flanger was inspired by classic analogue flangers like the Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress, MXR M117 Flanger, and the Tycobrahe Pedalflanger, with three controls labelled ‘blend’, ‘rate’, and ‘intensity’ accompanying a mini switch labelled ‘tape’.

The latter mimics the original tape manipulation style flanging created in a recording studio.

The 3 Series Phaser offers classic phasing with controls for ‘blend’, ‘rate’, and ‘width’, plus a mini switch labelled F.Back.

Each unit also features a toggle switch to introduce an additional factor in the circuit, while a 9v DC negative centre power makes it easy to hook all units up to a power supply.

Crafted in America, the Series 3 effects pedals offer a no-frills approach to premium tone shaping, with Josh Scott describing the range as “a collection of pedals designed to give you affordability and simplicity without compromising quality”.
