The fully redesigned, highly simplified interface now has an easier workflow, including a new design of modulation sources and floating slot panel, with endless modulation options and all the 16-step XLFOs, XY controllers, envelope generators, envelope followers, and MIDI sources you need.
Volcano 3 features new vintage-sounding EQ-type filter shapes in bell, low/high shelf, notch, and all-pass, along with a 6 dB/oct filter slope option.
New per filter settings include ‘level’ and ‘pan’, especially useful when using parallel filter routings, and ‘drive’ which adjusts the internal filter saturation allowing for more variety in sound and smoothness.
Other new features include live modulation visualisation and a ‘high quality’ option to enable maximum internal oversampling.
They have also improved the overall sound quality, plus carefully designed and curated factory presets and support for earlier Volcano presets.
Various interface sizes, full screen mode and large interactive filter and optional piano displays also grace the Volcano 3.
