From Oasis to his High Flying Birds, Noel Gallagher has been a force in British Rock since the ’90s. Since appearing in the ‘Little by Little’ music video, Noel Gallagher has used the J-150 as his guitar of choice, regularly playing it to crowds around the world. With this in mind, Gibson have unveiled a limited run remake of the J-150 which comes packaged with extra goodies.

  • Gibson are releasing a remake of their J-150 acoustic guitar, used famously by Noel Gallagher.
  • It features the same stylings of the original with a sunburst finish.
  • Only 200 of these guitars are available worldwide.

“When Gibson brought the prototype down and I saw it there on the floor I was like ‘It looks the bollocks man,’ but then it sounded exactly like mine,” says Noel Gallagher. “I was blown away!”

This right handed acoustic guitar is Noel’s choice for at the studio and on the road. It can be seen in countless performances from the UK rockstar and Gibson have added one of Noel’s unique touches to the packaging.

Along with a custom case, signed label and reproduced hand-written lyric sheet, there’s an authorised Adidas sticker, which can be seen on the body above the fretboard on Noel’s original J-150.

The Noel Gallagher J-150 itself has AA grade maple back and sides with a premium Sitka spruce top, Indian Rosewood fretboard and 20 Standard Small Crown frets.

It features a pickguard of the same style and shape as the original J-150 and a decorative bridge and comes fitted with a L.R. Baggs Anthem under saddle pickup, with control panel and 1/4″ jack output.

The limited edition guitar is available worldwide right now.
