WJA Onboard Bass Guitar PreAmp

Each frequency band is carefully chosen to enhance the attack and body of your instrument’s sound. The bandwidth (Q) is designed to encompass the critical frequencies of each open string while avoiding interference with adjacent EQ settings. This ensures clarity, power, and a balanced tonal foundation. This preamp allows for fine-tuning to accommodate variations in pickup frequency response. Whether you’re compensating for pickup characteristics or tailoring your tone for a specific musical context, this preamp provides unparalleled flexibility.

  • EQ Controls: Independent pots with dedicated PCBs for each band
  • Low: ±15 dB @ 44 Hz or 80 Hz (selectable via PCB jumpers)
  • Mid: ±15 dB @ 350 Hz, 600 Hz, 1 kHz, or 1.8 kHz (selectable via PCB jumpers and a micro switch)
  • Treble: ±18 dB @ 6 kHz or 10 kHz (selectable via PCB jumpers)
  • Active/Passive Mode: Switch between active and passive operation with a micro switch
