Evanescence are bringing their immortal live performance back to Australia with three intimate headline shows.

Amy Lee and company have locked in special performances across Australia, taking place in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney this October and November, giving fans a rare chance to catch Evanescence in smaller venues before they hit stadiums supporting Metallica. These stripped-back shows promise to be raw, gripping and up close, showcasing the band’s catalogue away from the massive arena productions.

Evanescence has been rewriting the rock landscape for over two decades since their watershed debut album Fallen dropped in 2003. Their trademark mix of metal, symphonic elements, and piano-driven melodies, anchored by Lee’s powerhouse vocals, has earned them two Grammy Awards, multiple number-one albums, and even a rare RIAA Diamond certification for their debut.

Recent releases include Afterlife from the Netflix series Devil May Cry and Fight Like A Girl featuring K. Flay from the Ballerina soundtrack. Following their sold-out 2023 Australian visit for the 20 Years of Fallen Tour, this return showcases why Evanescence remain one of rock’s most influential acts.

Sharing the stage with icons Korn, Halestorm, Muse and countless others throughout their career, Evanescence have proven their staying power across five studio albums. Before tearing up massive stadiums supporting Metallica alongside Suicidal Tendencies later in November, these intimate headline shows offer something completely different.

Venues like 170 Russell and Metro Theatre provide the perfect setting for experiencing Evanescence’s dynamic range, from haunting ballads to crushing metal anthems. With the band’s 2023 Australian shows selling out quickly, these three special performances won’t stick around long.

Fans wanting early access can register for presale tickets starting 11 September, with general tickets following the next day. Each show promises an unforgettable night celebrating over 20 years of groundbreaking music that continues influencing artists across genres.
