The X-Delay features the same simple workflow thanks to the easy-to-use interface, a staple of the X series with the previous X-Echo a prime example.

X-Delay offers four independently syncable taps which include their own delay time, gain, and pan control, while users can also sync individual taps to the tempo of the song or adjust them in milliseconds.

There’s also a ping-pong mode for crafty stereo effects and experimenting.

Below the four taps is a section where you can apply SSL-style saturation, apply some reverb, modulate the delay, or apply de-essing to shape an endless variation of different delay sounds.

“Out of control” soundscapes can be created with a feedback knob that can be driven beyond 100 per cent with Freeze and Kill buttons to build risers and drops.

Additional sound-shaping can be done through a pair of high pass and low pass filters, and a stereo width knob.

The new plug-in is available now in several formats including VST2, VST3, AAX and AU.
