The M260 pairs a vintage-inspired aesthetic with a copper-ring composite bio-diaphragm and detachable MMCX cable, available in 3.5mm and USB-C configurations.
Wired earbuds have had a quiet resurgence, and SIVGA’s new M260 makes a reasonable case for why. Launched over the weekend, the M260 is a retro-styled HiFi earbud built around a 14.2mm dynamic driver, aimed at music listeners, commuters, and gamers who want reliable, low-latency wired audio without spending a fortune.
The design draws from the portable audio era of cassette players and early CD systems – metallic finish, exposed grille and a classic earbud form factor that looks deliberately old school next to the current sea of stemmed wireless options. It’s a style choice with a build that is lightweight enough that extended listening sessions won’t become uncomfortable.

The driver is where SIVGA has put most of its attention. The 14.2mm unit uses a copper-ring composite bio-diaphragm to improve diaphragm control and reduce distortion, paired with a CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminium Wire) voice coil for faster transient response and an N50 neodymium magnet for drive and control across the frequency range. The spec sheet reads 20Hz–20kHz, 118dB sensitivity and 16Ω impedance – easy to drive from a phone, laptop or handheld gaming console without an external amp.
The M260 comes in two versions. The 3.5mm model uses an L-shaped plug designed to reduce cable strain, while the USB-C version adds a built-in Realtek ALC5686 DAC supporting up to 32-bit/384kHz Hi-Res audio, along with a high-sensitivity microphone with multi-function controls for calls, playback and volume. Both use a detachable MMCX cable system with a 4N silver-plated OFC cable included, which means swapping cables is straightforward, and longevity isn’t entirely dependent on one cable surviving.
In the box you’ll find four pairs of ear tips and a protective Oxford fabric carry case. The 1.2m cable length covers desk use and commuting without feeling excessive.
