The search is underway for the music loving folk at Queenscliff Music Festival as their director announces his decision to step away from the role after ten highly successful years at the helm .

Queenscliff Music Festival
Current Festival Director, Andrew Orvis is a born and bred Queenscliff local who started at the festival 16 years ago and worked his way into the top role where he has overseen 10 highly successful, sold out festivals including navigating the treacherous waters of the Covid Years which inspired him to introduce the summer venue The Pelican Bar which operated across the summer of 20 / 21 as well as the popular monthly concerts at the Queenscliff Town Hall. Andrew has presented over 1,000 artists on Queenscliff lineups, helped attract over 100,000 festival attendees, and provided countless memorable Queenscliff moments across the years.
Andrew’s own personal highlight is bringing his two young kids along to ‘Daddys Festible’ in recent years to enjoy performances from Bluey, Teeny Tiny Stevie’s and the Bananas in Pyjamas.

“I’ve loved my time at the Queenscliff Music Festival, and whilst I’m sad that it’s coming to an end, I’m excited about new adventures and opportunities in the future. It’s such a wonderful place, amazing people, a brilliant event, and has been an absolute honour to work on the Festival over so many years. It’s now time for someone else to take charge and lead Queenscliff Music Festival for many more years of successful Festivals”.
In the meantime, it’s full steam ahead for this year’s festival with the 2024 festival subscriber ticket allocation sold out, and Early Bird tickets on sale now for a limited time.
The multi-award-winning Queenscliff Music Festival is a three-day celebration of live music, family-friendly activities, locally sourced gourmet produce, fine beverages and more. Staged in November on the lands of the Wadawurrung on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula, the festival’s beach setting and picturesque locations attract music-lovers from all over looking to soak up the laid-back vibes and the eclectic mix of music on offer.
