Queens of the Stone Age announce charity stream of 2018 Tasmanian acoustic show

Words by Will Brewster

Commemorating the fifth anniversary of the Bataclan shootings.

Queens of the Stone Age are set to broadcast their rare acoustic performance from Tasmania’s 2018 edition of MONA on Friday November 13.

The band’s acoustic set, which saw them play inside the Museum of Old and New Art, has never been aired before to the public, with benefits from the stream going towards the Nick Alexander Memorial Trust and Life For Paris.

The set will be streamed on the fifth anniversary of the Paris 2015 terror attacks, where 90 attendees at an Eagles of Death Metal show at the Bataclan concert hall were murdered by terrorists.

You can stream the band’s set from 4am AEDT Saturday November 14 from Queens of the Stone Age’s YouTube here.

In the meantime, watch the band’s performance of ‘The Way You Used to Do’ from MONA below.
