Line 6 Release New Firmware Update For Helix Users

The Helix and Helix Native firmware update (2.50 and 1.50, respectively), share similar additions to their software. HX Edit also includes a minor update to version 2.51, correcting stability issues and general bug fixes.

The star of this update comes in the form of two new amp models, the Cali Texas Ch2 (based on the drive channel of the MESA/Boogie Lonestar), and the Placater Dirty (based on the BE/HBE channel of the Friedman BE-100).

The next addition in this update adds six new HX Effects Models, including a multi pass delay, and five different Line 6 Original reverbs.

Last but not least, a grand total of 77 new effects models have been added. These have been taken from the venerable Line 6 M-Series, in addition to legendary pedals such as the DL 4 delay. With effects ranging from overdrive to voice box filters, there’s endless experimentation to be had with this update.

Line 6 are distributed in Australia through Yamaha Music Australia.
