For the first time in 40 years, the new guitars were built in New York City, hand crafted by master luthier Victor Baker and his assistants. The line includes upgraded versions of six of the most popular guitars in the Standard Series, and features custom-made Seymour Duncan pickups, graphite nuts and new Dunlop frets.
After a 2015 that saw the brand grow exponentially, this year has started off brightly for D’Angelico, being named a ‘Company to Watch’ at NAMM 2016. Only available in a ‘Midnight Matte’ finish, these guitars are a testament to the high standards set by D’Angelico when creating their guitars.
