Lisbon-based ADDAC System has announced the ADDAC809S Stereo Chain Router and the ADDAC005 Standalone CV2 Expression, two new modules designed to expand CV-based routing and control possibilities.
Portuguese modular specialists ADDAC System have added two new utilities to their lineup, and if you’re deep in the Eurorack world, or even looking to bridge the gap between CV and your effects pedal setup, both are worth a close look.
First up is the ADDAC809S Stereo Chain Router, the stereo version of the well-regarded 809 Chain Router. The ADDAC809S lets you route any stereo source – audio or CV – through two different module chains without any external re-patching. So if you’re running a delay and a looper, for example, you can swap their order on the fly depending on what the patch needs.

The unit’s controls are practical, with ‘Bypass’, ‘Parallel (A+B)’ and two ‘Series’ buttons managing routing order and signal configuration. Inputs accept either audio or CV, which keeps things versatile across different patching scenarios.
The second release is the ADDAC005 Standalone CV2 Expression — a compact passive device that bridges CV signals and expression pedal TRS inputs on effects pedals. Rather than plugging an expression pedal directly into your effects unit, the ADDAC005 sits in between a CV source and the pedal, letting you automate parameters directly from your CV signal. It’s a clever way to bring modular-style control into a traditional pedalboard setup.
The ADDAC005 features two inputs — a 3.5mm jack for Eurorack and a 1/4″ jack for larger format synthesisers, plus an attenuator knob and 1/4″ output. Being a passive device, it draws power straight from the effects pedal itself.
Both the ADDAC809S and ADDAC005 are available now. Full specifications and signal flow diagrams can be found here. For local enquiries, head here.
