Epiphone has launched the Futura Series, a range of seven guitars spanning some of the most iconic shapes in electric guitar history, all dressed in colour-shifting finishes with upgraded electronics and premium hardware.
Epiphone has taken some of the most iconic guitar shapes in history and made them bolder than ever with the Futura Series – seven guitars and seven classic silhouettes, all wrapped in striking Chromashift finishes that shift colour depending on the light and angle. Built to turn heads on stage and on camera, it’s a range that is particulary suited for a generation of musicians who live in both worlds.
Across the entire range, each guitar is loaded with Epiphone’s new ProBucker Ignite humbuckers — powerful and punchy without sacrificing clarity, and hum-free throughout. Push/pull pots add coil-splitting on each pickup, plus phase switching when both are engaged, so there’s a wide tonal range on offer from a single instrument. Ebony fretboards with a 10″–14″ compound radius keep playability comfortable from open chords all the way up the neck, and stainless steel medium jumbo frets mean they’ll outlast standard nickel-silver wire by a considerable margin. Locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, Posi-Lok strap buttons and a gig bag round out a very solid package.
