Music Victoria is accepting applications for their 2018 music business coaching program

Live Music Professionals enlists professional coaches with multitudes of industry experience to share their advice with independent promoters, band bookers, venue owners, or venue managers based in Victoria. Twenty applicants will be selected by a panel of live music industry experts to take part in activities designed to increase their success in the industry, such as one-on-one coaching sessions, attending conferences, and workshopping their progress.

Previous coaches included Jon Perring (owner of The Tote and Bar Open), Richard Moffat (Groovin The Moo festival booker), Carolyn Logan (co-director of Penney and Logan PR/Management), and Aidan McLaren (manager and co-producer of The Hills Are Alive festival).

The program is free, and will run for four months between July and November this year. Applications are open until Tuesday April 3 for Victorians who meet the eligibility requirements.
