Gretsch unveiled their Electromatic Collection earlier this month with the Classic Hollow Bodies release, while this time, the solid-bodied Jet models and the Lap Steel are in the spotlight.

Making up the Jets without Bennie is the Jet BT, Jet Baritone with V-stoptail and Bigsby options, a Junior Jet Bass II Short-Scale, with a Lap Steel also being released alongside them.
The Jet BT comes with a left-handed option as a pair of Black Top Broad’Tron Pickups deliver your desired tone. It has a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, a 12”-radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, a bound headstock, plain-face head cap, vintage-inspired purfling, Big Block inlays and closed back tuning keys.
A V-stoptail adorns the body with an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge.
The Electromatic Jet Baritone is available with a fixed v-stoptail tailpiece finished in Bristol Fog or Imperial Stain or with a Bigsby tailpiece available in Midnight Sapphire.
Both have a solid mahogany body with a bolt-on maple neck, a 12”-radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, dual Gretsch mini-humbucking pickups, and an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge.
The Junior Jet Bass II Short-Scale’s key features include a 30.3”-shorter scale length for comfortable playability, basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, 12”-radius black walnut fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets and dot inlays.
This versatile bass is also equipped with a four-saddle adjustable bridge, synthetic bone nut and die-cast tuners.
The Lap Steel is sleek and smooth, featuring a solid mahogany slab body, 22.5” scale length, 28-fret plastic fingerboard with circle, triangle, square and diamond position markers, aluminium nut, chrome-covered single-coil bridge pickup with G-arrow control knobs for master volume and master tone, chrome-plated string-through-body bar bridge with chrome-plated cast zinc cover and silver plastic deco control plate.
