Packing P-90 pickups and unique design appointments.

After being teased to the public prior to NAMM 2021 earlier this year, Fender have announced the official release of the new Noventa range, a limited edition series that reimagines some of their most iconic models with decidedly modern appointments.

Made in Fender’s Mexican plant, the Noventa range puts a twist on the tried-and-true designs of the Telecaster, Stratocaster and Jazzmaster, integrating hot P-90 pickups and simplified tonal controls to turn them into rough-and-ready rock machines.

First up, the Noventa Telecaster takes design cues from the popular Cabronita Telecaster, with a single MP-90 pickup in the bridge position and two controls for volume and tone.

Other unique features include a ’60s C neck profile, a simplified bridge and cut-down pickguard, with finish and fretboard options including maple with Fiesta Red and Vintage Blonde and pau ferro for Two-Tone Sunburst.

Packing two Noventa single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge position as well as a hardtail bridge and modern C neck profile, the Noventa Stratocaster offers players with a streamlined, familiar design that packs simplified electronics, perfect for rock styles.

This one can be picked up in Surf Green, Daphne Blue and Crimson Red Transparent finishes, with maple fretboards being affixed to the former two and pau ferro being latched onto the latter.

For offset aficionados, the Noventa Jazzmaster will certainly appeal to you with its contoured body and classic Jazzmaster tremolo, which is complemented with an adjust-o-matic bridge for added tuning stability.

The guitar also makes use of three Noventa pickups for a striking look and to deliver creamy middle position tones, with a five-way pickup selector switch replacing the Jazzmaster’s typical roller controls for uninhibited ease of use.

With a soft V neck profile,  21 jumbo frets and a 9.5″ fretboard radius, the Noventa Jazzmaster can be acquired in three unique finishes: Surf Green and Fiesta Red, which both feature maple fretboards, as well as Walnut, with boasts a pau ferro board.
