The software platform gains a bigger amp collection, studio-grade cabinet emulation and tools for bringing real amplifiers into your rig.
Two Notes is bundling GENOME 2.0 with qualifying hardware at no extra cost, offering significant value to current customers.
GENOME 2.0 is the platform’s largest overhaul yet. You get an expanded collection of TSM-Ai amps covering everything from clean tones to high-gain and bass work, alongside Two Notes’ DynIR cabinet emulation. The cabinet modelling includes flexible mic positioning and the studio post FX needed to turn a direct signal into something mix-ready.

The real shift comes with Two Notes Capture Studio, a free standalone app that lets you record real amplifiers and bring them into GENOME. You can either create static captures or build multi-parametric AmpNet captures that preserve how an amp responds across its controls – giving you more realistic tone-shaping options after capture. Global Transpose is a practical addition for players who move between tunings. It lets you shift your entire rig ±24 semitones in real time without stopping the flow, handy whether you’re tracking different tuning contexts or performing live. iPad support means you’re not tethered to the desktop, and your rig can travel with the software – useful for sketching ideas on the couch or bringing tone control into rehearsals.
For Two Notes hardware owners, the DynIR cabinets that come bundled with your gear unlock in GENOME after registration, so you’re not starting from zero. The whole thing connects to your hardware directly.
GENOME 2.0 is available now for registered Two Notes hardware customers including Captor 4, 8 and 16, Captor X+, OPUS, ReVolt Guitar and Bass, and Reload II.
