The Pico Platform has four main controls: Volume, Sustain, Attack, Blend, as well as a ‘Type’ switch that toggles between compressor or limiter mode, denoted by a green and orange LED respectively. The sustain knob serves as either a Ratio control in compressor mode, or Threshold when set to Limiter, while the Blend control is a Mix knob between your wet/dry signal.
The Pico range are powered by 9V input, the enclosures themselves not being big enough to house a battery, most of the space being occupied by the input and output jacks, and compressor circuitry itself. The Pico Platform is proudly very transparent, much like its older cousin, and can be used to subtly shape and control your sound, or overtly compress and squash a signal.
