The new lineup brings together a wireless smart speaker, soundbar and subwoofer built around Bose's latest proprietary audio technologies, available from May 15.
Bose has revealed the Lifestyle Collection, a new home audio lineup that draws on over 40 years of the company’s home audio expertise. Three products make up the range: the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar and the Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer. Each works on its own, but the system is designed to scale – from a single speaker in a bedroom to a full 7.1.4 multichannel home theatre setup.
The Lifestyle Ultra Speaker is the most versatile of the three. Small enough to fit almost anywhere, it uses an updated version of Bose’s Direct/Reflecting speaker technology with three drivers – two front-facing and one up-firing – to project sound off walls and ceilings and back toward the listener. TrueSpatial audio processing adds height and depth, while CleanBass technology combines a woofer, a proprietary QuietPort acoustic opening and digital signal processing to pull low-frequency performance well beyond what you’d expect from a speaker this size.

The Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar represents the first major soundbar redesign from Bose in over a decade. Six full-range drivers, a centre tweeter and two PhaseGuide drivers handle Dolby Atmos content from a single enclosure, with no additional speakers required. PhaseGuide technology extends the soundstage left and right beyond the physical unit, TrueSpatial fills in for non-Atmos content and SpeechClarity uses AI-driven processing to keep dialogue clean and intelligible. CustomTune – formerly ADAPTiQ – analyses the room using an iOS or Android microphone to optimise audio for the specific space.
The Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer rounds out the collection, adding wireless bass that stays controlled at any volume thanks to the same CleanBass and QuietPort technology found across the range.
All three products connect over Wi-Fi with support for Google Cast, Apple AirPlay and Spotify Connect, and can be grouped with speakers from other manufacturers via the Google Home app or AirPlay. Bluetooth is also supported. Setup runs through an updated Bose app, which handles permissions, Wi-Fi sharing and third-party account sign-in in one guided process.
Raza Haider, president of premium consumer audio at Bose, put it this way: “The flexibility, refined aesthetic, and experience are all built to fit into life at home, delivering on the one central promise that has defined Bose for decades: that sound matters.”
The Lifestyle Collection is available for pre-order now at Bose.com.au, with shipping from May 15. Both the speaker and soundbar come in Black or White Smoke.
