Alesis has released the Turbo Pro, an electronic drum kit designed as the next step up for beginner and intermediate drummers chasing a more realistic playing experience.
The eight-piece kit features four eight-inch mesh-head drums, three expressive eight-inch cymbal pads, and a dedicated six-inch kick drum tower with kick pedal and beater, all mounted on a sturdy four-post rack. Alesis says the combination is aimed at delivering the feel, response, and durability needed for effective practice and ongoing skill development.

The Turbo Pro slots in as an upgrade to Alesis’s existing Turbo Mesh kit, which has long served as one of the brand’s most accessible entry points into electronic drumming. Where the original Turbo Mesh relies on a simpler kick pedal setup, the Turbo Pro’s dedicated kick tower and larger four-post rack push it further into intermediate territory, positioning it as a natural next step for drummers who’ve outgrown a beginner kit but aren’t yet ready for Alesis’s higher-tier Nitro or Command lines. Alesis has built its reputation around mesh-head drum pads specifically because they offer a quieter, more naturally responsive feel than the rubber pads found on many budget kits, and the Turbo Pro continues that focus by fitting mesh heads across all four drum pads.
To keep players engaged, the Turbo Pro includes Bluetooth 5.3 audio streaming, letting drummers play along with songs, lessons, and backing tracks directly from a phone or tablet. The included drum module carries twelve drum kits, one hundred and ten sounds, and twenty built-in practice songs, alongside a metronome, tempo controls, and recording functionality.
Connectivity is rounded out with USB-MIDI, headphone out, aux in, and line out, opening the door to virtual instruments and recording software for drummers looking to expand beyond the module’s built-in sounds.
Everything needed to start playing is included in the box, with a drum throne, headphones, and sticks all bundled alongside the kit. Alesis has also included a ninety-day Drumeo subscription and the BFD Player software package, giving new owners access to additional lessons and premium drum sounds from day one.
The Alesis Turbo Pro is expected to arrive in mid-October.
