Behringer launches XTM1-35 wireless mic system in single and dual configurations

The UHF wireless system offers plug-and-play simplicity for performers, presenters, and broadcasters with a dual-channel receiver and 60-metre range.

Wireless mic systems shouldn’t require an engineering degree to operate, and Behringer’s new XTM1-35 takes that philosophy seriously.

Available now in Australia in single or dual microphone configurations, the XTM1-35 is a wireless system designed for broadcasters, presenters, lecturers, singers, musicians, actors, and performers who need reliable audio. The dual version operates between 584-608 MHz, whilst the single configuration runs 596-608 MHz.

Both systems feature a dual-channel receiver with antenna diversity technology for better signal reception—a crucial feature for maintaining clean audio when interference is an issue. Multiple channels allow you to run several systems simultaneously, making it practical for multi-presenter setups or bands where multiple wireless mics are needed at once. The receiver includes an adjustable squelch (which cuts out unwanted background noise), and a digital display shows you what’s happening at a glance. Maximum operating range sits at 60 metres (200 feet), covering most performance and presentation scenarios without dropouts. Each handheld microphone features a dynamic capsule built for vocals, with a mute button built into the unit. This is important when you’re switching between speakers or need to cut audio quickly without reaching for the receiver.

The receiver offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4″ outputs, providing flexibility for different mixing desks, PA systems, or recording setups. Whether you’re plugging into a mixer at a corporate event, connecting to a guitar amp for busking, or feeding a broadcast desk, you’re covered. Behringer includes a sturdy carry case with both configurations, protecting the gear during transport and keeping everything organised between gigs. It’s a small detail, but a smart touch when you’re loading in and out regularly.

The XTM1-35 isn’t trying to compete with touring-grade wireless systems costing thousands. Instead, it targets the broad middle ground of users who need dependable wireless audio for regular use. Whether that’s a presenter doing weekly talks, a singer working pub trivia, a lecturer moving around a classroom, an actor in community theatre, or a musician playing cafes and small venues, Behringer has you covered.

The XTM1-35 is a straightforward wireless system that works, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
