After the success of its inaugural event earlier in 2020, Miss Blanks’ Point Blank Group has today announced that the A Carry 4 Coins fundraiser concert will be returning in February 2021.

Going down at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday February 5, the 2021 edition of A Carry 4 Coins will be headlined by local titans WAAX, with acclaimed Melbourne trio Camp Cope also set to perform at the event.

They’ll be joined by an almighty roster of acts that includes Barkaa, Emily Wurramara, Mo’Ju and Tia Gostelow, with additional acts to be added to the lineup closer to the concert date.

The concert will function as a benefit and fundraiser for a range of social causes, including Black Rainbow; a social enterprise that seeks to aid the health, wellbeing and suicide prevention of Indigenous LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as a collective of transgender women of colour raising funds for gender affirmation surgery for those within the community.

In a statement released alongside today’s news, Miss Blanks lauded the response to the inaugural A Carry 4 Coins earlier in the year, as well as announcing that the event would transition into an annual fundraiser from 2021 onwards.

“I’m so excited for us to be launching A Carry 4 Coins 2021 and announce the annual event with many editions to come. It’s so important to us to help provide relief where possible so that as a community we can all feel supported, protected, seen, and heard.”

Tickets for A Carry 4 Coins are available to purchase now. All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patrons can contact David from Point Blank Group to organise free entry to the event.
