The first live show off the back of their latest album.
After basking in the critical acclaim of their third studio record We Will Always Love You, Aussie plunderphonics duo The Avalanches have announced a huge hometown show at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Bowl this coming April.
The group, spearheaded by Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi, will be taking over the bowl for a massive night of music on Friday April 23, giving local fans the chance to see live renditions of their new album before the rest of the world.
To comply with COVID-19 protocol, the headline show will be a socially distanced event that will be grouped into designated deck, stall table and balcony zones. Ticket buyers also have the chance to purchase tickets in groups of two, four and six for an intimate experience with The Avalanches unlike any other.
Check out all the details below. Presale tickets are available from 12pm Friday December 18, with general on-sale being released to the public on Monday December 21 at midday.
