Fender and Bandai Namco have revealed a limited edition PAC-MAN Player II Telecaster, alongside a Japan-exclusive apparel collection dropping this July.

Fender and Bandai Namco are marking milestone anniversaries with something a little unexpected – a limited edition Telecaster wrapped in the unmistakable iconography of PAC-MAN. Both brands are celebrating significant moments in 2026: Fender’s 75th anniversary of the Telecaster and PAC-MAN’s 45th, and the collaboration honours their shared legacy.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

The Limited Edition PAC-MAN Player II Telecaster body features the iconic PAC-MAN maze up front – the titular character mid-chomp, with Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde closing in – while the reverse carries the Fender x PAC-MAN logo. It is undeniably cool.

Specs-wise, this isn’t a shelf piece dressed as a guitar. The Player II Telecaster has a solid foundation of a modern “C”-profile neck, 22 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5″-radius rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges, making it comfortable to play. The Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Tele pickups deliver the crystalline highs, musical mids and tight lows the Tele is known for. A 3-way blade switch, 6-saddle bridge and ClassicGear tuners round it out. The specs lean towards beginner-friendly, but nothing here will hold a more experienced player back.

Justin Norvell, Chief Product Officer at Fender, called the collaboration “a collision of two cultural forces that have shaped generations,” adding that both brands share “the ability to make people feel something profound, decade after decade.”

Alongside the guitar, Fender is releasing a PAC-MAN apparel collection under its F IS FOR FENDER fashion label – exclusive to Japan and arriving in July 2026. The range includes three premium cotton T-shirts (The Player Tee, The Picks Tee and The Ghost Tee) and two embroidered baseball caps featuring pixel-perfect versions of Inky and Blinky. All pieces are made in Japan, produced in limited quantities, and available through Fender’s Flagship Tokyo store and the F IS FOR FENDER website.

The Limited Edition PAC-MAN Player II Telecaster is available now through Fender retailers worldwide. Check it out here
