It’s a giant coup for the band, who until the announcement of this tour, had been on hiatus since the middle of 2010, playing their last show at The Tivoli in Brisbane in June of that year.
Since then the various members of COG have kept busy with other musical projects, but they haven’t come together like this in some time. Speaking on the speed with which the tickets have sold, COG have said “and yet, after all this time you guys still have our backs? Incredible. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and wanted once again.
You amaze us with your generosity and for that we are etternally grateful. We will do our best and work hard to return the favour. See you all in July.”
