LEFTFIELD ANNOUNCE CLUB SHOWS IN MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY

leftfield.jpg2_.jpg

Emerging back in ’91, Leftfield has been untouchable both live and on record, shaping Britain’s electronic music scene drastically. Their now infamous Liveism tour, which they embarked on in ’95, cemented the trio as one of the genre’s most impressive live acts – their insane sound system resulted in a ban from the renowned Brixton Academy when plaster started flaking from the ceiling. Eleven years later, nothing has changed. The Guardian puts it nicely, stating that ‘In 2015, they haven’t moved forward so much as waited for everyone else to catch up…they’re back and absolutely deafening’.

Alternative Light Source is both Leftfield’s third studio album and their first new material since their 1999 release Rhythm and Stealth. Garnering critical acclaim, the album proves that the outfit was always ahead of the curve. The record rings true to their earlier sound, but instead of standing out in the genre, it now fits right in.

Tickets are onsale now via Frontier Touring.
