The single is the first taste from the forthcoming album, which will be out later this year via UNFD, and is the first new release since their acclaimed EP, Home Remedy.
2015 was a big year for the band, with the release of Home Remedy followed by their main stage debut at Soundwave Festival, and tours alongside Neck Deep, Basement, Real Friends and Hands Like Houses. This culminated in the band being awarded ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best EP Release’ in BLUNT magazine’s 2015 Readers’ Poll.
“Columbus are a band everyone at UNFD is falling in love with right now,” says UNFD’s Luke Logemann. “They write amazing songs and make them sound even better live. ‘Replace Me’ is already one of the best Australian Summer jams of 2015/16.” The band will play single launch shows in Brisbane and Sydney, before heading back into the studio to complete their highly-anticipated debut album.
