Thornhill details sophomore album, announce East Coast tour dates, and drop their latest single

Australian metalcore band Thornhill have been busy!

Australian metalcore band Thornhill have been busy of late revealing details of their upcoming album Heroine, dropping a music video for their new single ‘Hollywood’, as well as announcing a run of East Coast tour dates.

Following their critically acclaimed 2019 debut release, The Dark Pool, which was nominated for Best International Breakthrough Band by the Heavy Music Awards in 2020, Thornhill aim to blend cinematic experience, music and the visual arts on Heroine which is set to release June 3.

The band’s vocalist, Jacob Charlton, works with the Thornhill’s styling and direction, and, as such, is the creative force behind the ‘Hollywood’ music video.

Thornhill will open their preview shows at the Woolly Mammoth in Brisbane, before heading down to the Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney. Finally, the Heroine preview tour will wrap up at the Northcote Social Club in Melbourne.

Other upcoming Thornhill shows in Australia include at UNIFY Gathering Festival in South Gippsland from Thursday March 10 to Sunday March 13. Additionally, the metalcore group will perform at Full Tilt Melbourne at Reunion Park in Melbourne on Saturday March 26.

Whatever Forever will be supporting Thornhill for their headline shows.

The band will also be touring with American post-hardcore band ‘Dayseeker’ across the USA over April and May, before supporting ‘Burning Tomorrow’ and ‘August Burns Red’ across the UK and Europe in October and November 2022.
