Two of rock's most enduring live acts are joining forces for a co-headline run across Australia and New Zealand this September, with Shinedown making their long-awaited return to Australian shores for the first time in over 15 years.

American rock heavyweights Shinedown and British alt-rock legends Bush are teaming up for a six-date tour this September, presented by Destroy All Lines. Kicking off in Auckland on 17 September, the run will wind through Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide before closing out in Perth on 29 September – and with both bands bringing decades of iconic catalogue to the stage, this is shaping up to be one of the standout rock events of the year.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

Shinedown have been one of the most consistent forces in rock over the past two decades, with 24 number one rock hits, 8.3 billion streams, and platinum or gold certifications across their entire album catalogue. Their return to Australia coincides with the release of their eighth studio album, EI8HT, due 29 May. Frontman Brent Smith has described the record as the band pushing themselves “like never before”, following up 2022’s Planet Zero.

Bush need little introduction. Gavin Rossdale and company have been a fixture of the rock landscape since Sixteen Stone landed in 1994, which charted at number five in Australia, and introduced the world to tracks like “Glycerine”, “Machinehead” and “Comedown” that remain lodged in the cultural memory. The band’s tenth studio album, I Beat Loneliness, arrived in 2025, and their last Australian run in 2022 left audiences thoroughly impressed, with The AU Review calling their Brisbane set “arguably the best performance of the night.”
