RODE have announced the RODEcaster DUO, Streamer X, and PodMic USB

Announced at NAB Show 2023 in Las Vegas, RODE have unleashed a massive drop, which includes the RODEcaster DUO, the Streamer X, the and PodMic USB.

RODE are quickly gaining a reputation as one of the key players where providing streamlined, convenient solutions where streaming and content creation is concerned. Their latest product offerings within this realm, announced at Las Vegas’ 2023 NAB show, boast a slew of features sure to pique the interest of the web-broadcast inclined. Let’s dive in!

RODEcaster DUO

The RODEcaster DUO boasts a familiar range of features for those acquainted with the RODEcaster II production console, however this time around, they will come packaged in a more compact form.

That means the exact same quad-core audio engine, two Revolution preamps, TRRS input on the front, Aphex audio processing, and a slew of other customizable features that can be tailored to your individual workflow.

The RODEcaster DUO will be available soon, with pricing and more detailed specs yet to be announced.

Streamer X

Under the RODE X division aimed at streamers, gamers, and content creators, the Streamer X marries an audio interface and 4K video capture care, all within the one compact desktop console.

As far as connectivity is concerned, there’s a phantom-powered XLR combo input, headset input, and RODE wireless mic input. Audio signals can also be boosted with Aphex processing, and users can take advantage of the RODE X UNIFY software in order to control levels while streaming and routing.

Additionally, the Streamer X can handle streaming at up to 4K 30fps or 2K 60fps or video through at up to 4K 60fps or 2K 120 fps.

PodMic USB

RODE has reconfigured the design of their beloved PodMic, enhancing its versatility with the addition of an integrated preamp and interface with USB-C connectivity.

When utilising the XLR connection, users will enjoy the same performance gleaned from the PodMic. Additionally, the PodMic USB offers headphones out with volume control, DSP processing, and is compatible with mobile devices.

Conveniently, the PodMic USB is compatible with all RODE software, from RODE Central, to RODE Connect, to RODE Capture, and UNIFY.
