Watch: Man Builds Microtonal Guitar From Lego

Tolgahan Çoğulu, a Georgian microtonal guitar enthusiast and professor based in Istanbul, has created a classical microtonal guitar with a twist, using Lego bricks instead of a regular fretboard. In the video below, Çoğulu explains that his child gave him the idea and was heavily involved in the creative process, which involved a lot of brick building and some 3D printing for good measure. It doesn’t even sound half bad either!

Even if it’s not the most practical invention, you’ve got to give Çoğulu props for A grade parenting here; it’s seriously one of the most unique father-son musical bonding experiences I’ve seen in a long time.
