The Groovebox also features the option of creating your own sounds by using the touch interface. It has two synth sections – the Retrobass, for the creation of deep retro sounding basslines; and the Poly 8, a drum machine geared towards a modern edge sound.
The iPad version of Groovebox features an eight track mixer whilst the iPhone equivalent uses an instrument focused mixer. Groovebox also features extended support for use in collaboration with Audiobus, Inter-App Audio, Ableton Link and Ableton Export.
