By recreating the original circuitry and internal schematics of the Echoplex EP-3, Catalinbread have also added six control knobs for adjusting the pedals depth, feedback rate, and sustain, and includes the same power supply, preamp and playback amplifier as the original EP-3.
Sticking true to the features of the original Echoplex, Catalinbread have opted out of including tap-tempo functionality; instead adding external expression pedal compatibility to control the time of the effect, resulting in a highly versatile boutique delay pedal perfectly capable of recreating the classic tones associated with the original Echoplex across countless classic records.
